The Turning of the Wheel
August 1 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
This is a community ceremony to celebrate the Turning of the Wheel of the year. It’s halfway between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox, and we’re moving into late summer. For our ancestors this was a time of ‘first harvest’ when the grain began to be cut and blessed. For us this could symbolise reaping the harvest of what we have sown earlier.
This evening we’ll come together around a fire in the Medicine Wheel, share our words, celebrate and send energy for the wellbeing of planet, people, plants and animals. There’ll be singing and ritual.
This is by donation and proceeds will go to support threatened tribal people via Survival International. Places will be limited, so please get in touch to reserve your place – send a text or email.
